We have implemented safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are working to ensure social distancing within our facility. We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such as plexi-glass or plastic barriers between team member work stations. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility, and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.POSITION SUMMARY: The Yard Attendant is responsible for removing corrugated board, paper, pallets, and miscellaneous waste and recyclables from company grounds, and disposing them at the proper sites. Also, responsible for miscellaneous errands at the plant. Will also fill in as a back-up in other areas of the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Responsible for performing equipment inspections in accordance with company guidelines and equipment operating instructions.

  • Assists in loading/unloading trucks as required.

  • Collects all recyclables from Processing Plant and Main Office and delivers them to the recycling center.

  • Collects all garbage from production areas and disposes of it properly.

  • Maintains the company grounds—lawn mowing, parking lot maintenance, etc.

  • Delivers parts to be returned to various complex locations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization


  • Valid forklift and pallet jack license, or willingness to obtain.

  • Working knowledge of driving and traffic rules.

  • Working knowledge in driving a truck safely.

  • Ability to work independently and use good judgement.
