Purpose & Scope: This position is supporting the foodservice Inside Sales Team and Head of Foodservice Sales in direct field sales with broadline distribution companies, foodservice meat companies, regional and local multi-unit restaurants.
This position is to be based in the region it is supporting which is the Southeast United States. This position requires approximately 75% travel and some weekend events will be involved.
Work with the JBS broadline distribution partners to help train their sales teams on the JBS Pork company. The training will consist of educating them on the different cuts of Pork, restaurant application of Pork cuts, and JBS Premium Pork Brands.
Identify and call on regional and local multi-unit restaurant accounts that are targets for the JBS product offerings.
Participate with JBS broadline distribution partners in ride-withs to end user restaurants and other foodservice avenues that will include all segments of the restaurant industry to help them sell JBS products.
Assist with various Customer Food Shows. This includes the planning and arranging show supplies, set-up, participation, and tear downs.
When working in major markets, perform an in-depth foodservice market analysis to determine the primary, secondary, and tertiary broad line distributors and meat suppliers and the key competitors in the market area. Report back to Inside Sales Account Manager and Head of Foodservice Sales.
Support Inside Sales Team as the foodservice corporate liaison on Request for Proposals (RFP), quality issues, pricing, and other issues as they arise.
Supply Inside Sales Team and Head of Foodservice Sales with information on the foodservice accounts they manage by updating them on product opportunities, new programs, market intelligence, etc.
Education : College Degree (B.A.)
Minimum of four years in pork or foodservice sales. Other experience in the pork industry will be given consideration.
Prior foodservice sales experience is preferred. This can be in either, broadline distribution or national, regional, local multi-unit restaurant accounts.
Must be an exceptional written and verbal communicator.
Great follow up skills are important.
Microsoft Teams, Power Point, Excel, and Word skills are mandatory.
