JBS USA PRICING & TRADE ANALYST in Bentonville, Arkansas

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: Pilgrim’s is searching for a Pricing & Trade Analyst to develop and drive insights into our Foodservice sales team. This role will help manage and optimize our national pricing & trade strategy across Foodservice channels by collaborating directly with our national sales force.

This role will be remote, report into the Manager of Trade & Sales Operations, Foodservice and support our sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate continuous improvement for all Foodservice trade programs including corporate accounts, local distributors, operators, and contract price programs including K-12.

  • Improve the marketing development fund review and approval process for Foodservice, including the fiscal year budgetary build, to improve return on investment and run rate.

  • Implement tracking and analytics for key performance indicators of spend and work in coordination with Manager and sales team to improve return or realize pounds.

  • ‘Get to Yes’ by owning the negotiation process for operator program deviations by working cross functionally with sales, our broker, category & finance teams.

  • Manage comprehensive process of trade guardrail development, stakeholder recommendations and systems implementation within quarterly deliverables.

  • Execute monthly and quarterly pricing and promotion activities as needed, cross-functionally in coordination with finance, customer service, category, and sales.

  • Refine monthly process for accrual audit and adjustment to ensure funds accrue to cover spend to budgeted expectations, along with any year over year objectives.

  • Leverage TPM platform (Telus/Blacksmith/Forge) and related databases to analyze data and produce meaningful insights that drive recommendations to optimize spend across customers.

  • Manage on-boarding of enhanced TPM tools to more effectively control our GTN spend, realize incremental pound opportunities, and profitably improve our run-rate.

  • Own Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract management process, in coordination with sales leadership, with reach to all commercial away from home customers; national & regional chains, large leveraged operators, non-commercial contract customers.

  • Leverage CRM platform (Customer Relationship Management – Blacksmith/Telus) to identify and prioritize high value targets, in coordination with our sales team, and realize new run-rate.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proven ability to analyze data, develop insights, deliver recommendations & drive results.

  • Proficient communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional behavior.

  • Foodservice industry application experience preferred; Telus, Blacksmith, Forge, Interflex, etc.

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to drive simple and effective communication to all levels of the organization.

  • 3+ years category or technical analyst experience in Foodservice/CPG preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree – business, planning, analytics or finance preferred.

  • Travel up to 20% as needed for strategic sales support.

  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
