JBS USA SALES DIRECTOR in Bentonville, Arkansas

This is a remote position, ideally based in Bentonville, AR.


  • Leads Sales team in executing strategies/priorities of both Beef Divisions, while partnering with all other JBS Divisional national priorities

  • Responsible for KPI’s/ budget delivery of revenue/margin for both Beef Divisions

  • Responsible for customer/ account development and client contact/relationships

  • Sets the tone for direct reports, building business agility and strategic direction using consumer insights, programming and product knowledge that influences customer perceptions and purchases

  • Supports and contributes to the effective management of product inventory as assigned by plant (old age, push sheets and freight maximization)

  • Coordinate/ communicate effectively with peer Sales Directors

  • Responsible for Talent acquisition, development and performance

  • Responsible for managing plant operation excellence to include opening inventory positions/partials sales orders/ meeting minimum shipping requirements

  • Conduct and/or coordinate customer reviews, presentations and customer visits

  • Monitor accruals and rebates with customers within the assigned region

  • Responsible for tying “partial loads” in a timely manner

  • Assure that market intelligence is received and submitted to the Marketing and Pricing Depts. for analysis in a timely manner


  • 4-6 years Sales management experience and ability to lead a successful sales team

  • Experience in our key areas of focus; Retailer/Fresh meat industry/CPG sales experience required

  • Ability to formulate and recommend plans, policies, goals, and objectives for sales activities to increase company market share, growth and profitability of company products

  • Ability to lead a team and successfully support Retailer market share expansion in existing, or capture separate/new market share

  • Ability to manage the Sales Department’s resources and personnel to obtain maximum benefit through recruiting, training, organizational and leadership

  • Ability to identify retail trends and new product opportunities

  • Demonstrates ability to gain cooperation with all internal departments including marketing, customer service, finance, research and development

  • Ability to develop and execute both short and long term sales plans and programs in conjunction with Senior Management, to ensure profitability and growth of the Company’s products

  • Ability to develop and recommend pricing strategy component of product marketing mix in working closely with Pricing Department

  • Successful customer relationship management is required

  • Able to communicate effectively with upper management

  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills are preferred

  • Highly organized and effective time management skills are preferred

  • Strong communication skills

  • Required basic computer skills

  • Able to travel when needed
