Hourly Production

Responsibilities

Position requires individual to cut, trim, and fabricate wholesale hide products in a production line setting

Functional Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and pull product repetitively in a hot and/or cold assembly line environment

Ability to work with sharp instruments and chemicals

Must maintain good personal hygiene

Depts inculdes limeflesh, greenflesh, bluewring, blue splitter, take-up, processing, and tannery maintenance

The Cactus operation is a two-shift, hide processing facility located in the panhandle of Texas. Employees a total of 180 team members.

Cactus is a key beef export plant, exporting approximately 23% of production to different countries including Japan, Mexico and Chile. The facility processes more than one million head of cattle per year.
