Scope of Position:

The Associate Category Marketing Manager will support defining existing business portfolio and key customer plans. Will help cross-functional business teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various business initiatives related to products, pricing, promotion, and packaging across multiple categories and key specific customers. Will help build plans to deliver on annual and longer term financial goals and collaborate with our retailer partners to drive category growth. You will gain exposure to all functional activities on the business including New Products, Sales, Operations, and Finance, which results in a holistic approach to driving business growth.


  • Analyze the P&L and understand the key levers to increase profit

  • Analyze and recommend price across items and private label bids

  • Work with Sales and Supply team to recommend the sales forecast and SKU allocation to drive strategic business growth

  • Support annual marketing plans that meet the growth objectives of the segments and key customers based on market and industry trends, SWOT, competitive review, and category review

  • Help define segment strategy and customer strategy to support Sales and Business Development

  • Support segment and customer-specific marketing programs that optimize product assortment and analyze demand and category sales for the customer

  • Support Sales with tools, materials, and selling insights they need to achieve sales objectives

  • Track performance of a product categories and/or customers and analyze sales volumes, market share trends, and competitive activity

  • Help measure, analyze, and report on success of customer marketing programs

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs throughout the selling and supply chain

  • Identify product and customer initiatives to drive growth and/or profitability

  • Support product management and/or cost reduction projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (product development, demand planning, trade promotions, and customer/market research)

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Marketing / Business / Finance).

  • 2+ years’ similar experience required, CPG industry preferred

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

While this position is primarily based in a corporate office setting, travel to the production facilities will be required. While at the facility, employee will be subject to extreme temperatures, humid/wet environments and other hazards common to a food manufacturing facility

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $65-$80 based on experience

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
