Marketing Management Trainee Program

Program Mission:

To provide technical, cultural, and leadership training to recent college graduates and develop them into successful members of our operations management teams.

This is a 12-month rotational program in a corporate facility on giving participants skills they need to be a successful manager. Rotations throughout all areas of marketing and relevant cross functions (Finance/Sales) of within organization.

  • Trainees will be given challenging projects and key learning objectives to complete during each rotation

  • There will be several 3 leadership training sessions throughout the program in our corporate office in Greeley, CO.

  • Trainees will be evaluated on performance and behaviors 2-3 times during the program.

  • Trainees will have 3-4 levels of support throughout their program to help with their development (Talent Manager, HR Manager, Mentor, and previous trainees).


  • Learn building annual business plans and long-term strategic plans for growth

  • Learn new product development process; potentially lead a new item creation

  • Learn/create marketing programs to drive growth (marketing communications)

  • Learn P&L analysis key leavers to increase profit and execute price recommendations

  • Support sales with tools, materials and selling insights they need to achieve sales objectives

  • Support developing marketing plans that meet the growth objectives of the segments and key customers based on market and industry trends, SWOT, competitive review, and category review

  • Track performance of a product categories and/or customers and analyze sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity

  • Helps measure, analyze, and report on success of marketing programs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required (Marketing, Economics, Business preferred)

  • Alignment with JBS Core Values and company culture

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internship in a similar work environment

  • Previous experience in a consumer packaged goods industry

  • Ability to lead cross functional groups

  • Strong desire to work in a challenging and agile environment

  • Flexibility to relocate, preferred
