ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Operate and maintain the offal room in a clean and efficient manner.
Set up and start the equipment necessary to meet the needs of production.
Performs routine and preventative maintenance in Offal Room, Live Receiving and the Picking Room
Schedule/set up change bi-product trailers as required by product flow.
Assist bi-products customers with trailers as needed.
Accurately record bi-product weights for containers of heads and heart or liver and lungs
Assist others as needed, i.e. barrel handling, pulling viscera from rejected birds, grounds keeping or changing water treatment chlorine cylinders
Complete assigned checks and tests; making sure customers specs are met for the product
Operate offal grinding, blood pumping and head pumping operations and storage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
Strong mechanical aptitude
Valid forklift license
Tractor/Trailer driving experience
Ability to communicate with outside vendors
Abel to work in a changing environment
Ability to work some weekends
Must have a valid Drivers License
