JBS USA BI PRODUCTS WORKER - DAYS in Cold Spring, Minnesota

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Operate and maintain the offal room in a clean and efficient manner.

  • Set up and start the equipment necessary to meet the needs of production.

  • Performs routine and preventative maintenance in Offal Room, Live Receiving and the Picking Room

  • Schedule/set up change bi-product trailers as required by product flow.

  • Assist bi-products customers with trailers as needed.

  • Accurately record bi-product weights for containers of heads and heart or liver and lungs

  • Assist others as needed, i.e. barrel handling, pulling viscera from rejected birds, grounds keeping or changing water treatment chlorine cylinders

  • Complete assigned checks and tests; making sure customers specs are met for the product

  • Operate offal grinding, blood pumping and head pumping operations and storage

  • Recognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organization


  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Valid forklift license

  • Tractor/Trailer driving experience

  • Ability to communicate with outside vendors

  • Abel to work in a changing environment

  • Ability to work some weekends

  • Must have a valid Drivers License
