IT Director of SAP

As an IT Director of SAP at Wild Fork Foods, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the current and future technology platforms, while effectively communicating and supporting execution of company strategies and priorities

  • Collaborating and driving transformation by utilizing modern technology solutions in support of the co-op goals and objectives

  • Influencing across the organization to get things done

  • Delivering results and advancing the strategic direction

  • Driving timely decision making, demonstrating agility and showing courage in taking risks and/or difficult decisions

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders

  • Building and maintaining long term strategic partnership with SAP as the WFF relationship sponsor

  • Building strong relationships with SAP and other partners that can help advance WFF’s technology landscape

  • Inspiring, motivating, challenging, and coaching strong teams that deliver business outcomes

  • Having confidence and being authentic

  • Leading with exceptional communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills

  • Develop & execute on the strategic roadmap for Finance and Merchandising transformation

  • Accountable for ensuring that the co-op get the most out of our investments in new SAP solutions

  • Advocate and implement integrated platforms for end-to-end business processes, driving efficiency and collaboration

  • Architect and build a scalable and flexible technology foundation that supports the growth of core gear & apparel business and enables future aspirations and growth engines such as Rentals, Re-commerce, and enhanced membership offerings

  • Anticipate and provide solutions for foundational processes in the retail industry leveraging the latest technology trends and developments

  • Partner with business leaders in driving adoption of standard Retail processes & best practices

  • Attract, retain, develop and grow talent with strong SAP competency to build exceptional teams

  • Infuse ML/AI in all new initiatives to unlock member and business value

  • Partner with peer technology leaders on co-op’s strategy for adoption of cloud architecture, data science, and analytics platforms

  • Champion modern ways of developing software, including Product Management, iterative prototype to delivery methodology

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience;

  • 10+ years of progressive management experience in leading technology teams

  • Experience in successfully leading technology-enabled large-scale business transformations through enterprise-wide programs (at similar Retailers is highly preferred.)

  • Omni-Channel - Experience building IT products to enable a great customer experience across multiple customer-facing environments, including online, mobile, in-store and in the field (outside).

  • Strong SAP knowledge including but not limited to ECC, S/4 HANA, Ariba, CAR and SAC

  • Experience with other off-the-shelf solutions for merchandising and supply chain such as Blue Yonder, Vanguard, Aptos, Manhattan Associates, IBM Sterling Commerce is desirable

  • Experience developing, planning and implementing company’s technology strategy, with special focus on execution and ensuring timely delivery. Possesses a strong point of view on best practices.

  • Industry Trends & Best Practices - Possesses a thoughtful point of view on industry trends impacting commerce and customer experiences. Has an informed perspective on best-in-class technologies.

  • Education - Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related field. Master’s or MBA from a leading program are highly desirable
