Southeast US-- Georgia/Florida and Puerto Rico Customer Base

Role Summary:

Provide consumer, category and sales solutions to Retail, Distributor, Processor and Puerto Rico Customers in a designated sales territory. Partner and liaison between Customers and Headquarter Teams. Day-to-day account development and management to achieve company and customer desired goals.


  • Develop and maintain customer/client relationships with US Multi-Unit Retail Operators/Distributors and Puerto Rico Market

  • Deliver KPI goals and budget attainment of revenue/margin targets for both Beef Divisions

  • Collaborate with all JBS Divisional market and internal partners

  • Creation and implementation of business plans for market area responsibility

  • Grow/develop new/existing accounts and build/grow stronger relationships

  • Utilize on-going inventory availability/maximize capacity and profits

  • Implement corporate programming strategy that supports consumers desired offering (combination of both divisions positioning of formula, negotiated and spot based pricing)

  • Conduct quarterly reviews with key customers - developing mutual growth plans

  • Develop working knowledge of the company’s products, programs and specifications to offer up solutions to customers’ market share growth plans

  • Travel required - 50%; Customer Appts, Industry Food Shows, Customer Events


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commodity sales required; beef experience preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling to National Multi-Unit Retail Accounts and Distributors; Puerto Rico market preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Bilingual and able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently

  • Ability to sell and develop brands/ relationships and basic knowledge of the beef industry is preferred

  • Proficient with retailer or syndicated data is preferred/plus

  • Strong communication/follow up skills and desire for career progression

  • Microsoft Office skills are mandatory.
