JBS USA Store Planning Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas

As a Store Planning Specialist, you will be leading all aspects of the assigned store projects in your region. Ensuring all tasks from punch lists, IT, AP, MKT, eCommerce, training, and store set ups are accurate. You will manage the communications of field status and streamline to leadership and internal team. You will work closely with various areas/departments to deliver assigned projects.

This position will report to the Store Planning Manager.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Leading all aspects of the assigned project in the field. (Punch lists, Checklist, Communication, IT, AP, MKT, Training, Store set up)

  • Will receive project from construction and manages the handover to operations

  • Follows-up on execution and delivery of functional areas/vendors

  • Leads the various store trainings (POS, SAP, Product, eCommerce, HR, Safety, Emergency Protocols and others)

  • Leads execution of store readiness (cleanliness, fixture placement, supply set up, restrooms, break area and others)

  • Manage inventory readiness (guarantees in stock 97%, cycle counts and pre-open inventory)

  • Oversee implementationon planogram set up (in store and in freezer)

  • Verifies that all inspections and licenses are prepared

  • Lists all corrections of errors in the project and communicates with leadership on resolution

  • Communicates project status with all involved functional areas and executive team, official reports sent on CT, PD, Pre-GO and Post-GO

  • Overseeing the regional floating team members that assist with the project

  • Travel up to 80%

  • Regional locations either in CA, TX, IL, or PA

  • Leverage SSL of new unit to support various pre-opening tasks

  • Other duties as needed


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred

  • 4+ years of retail, hotel, restaurant, or project management experience

  • Proficient in using Microsoft365, Smartsheet, Excel and construction exposure

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and work within a budget
