JBS USA RELIABILITY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR in Grand Island, Nebraska
Provides overall maintenance planning and scheduling support to include contract maintenance and the planning of repairs and rebuilds. Provides supervision of SAP data entry/maintenance and is responsible for the plant’s preventive & predictive maintenance program. Assists in educating operations or facilities personnel in maintenance management. The positions are responsible for the planning and scheduling of all maintenance work, including preventive maintenance and the creation of repair work orders. The Maintenance Reliability Manager oversees the data collection and input of maintenance activity into the SAP Plant Maintenance system. The Coordinator is responsible for forecasting, planning, scheduling, and reporting in the maintenance operating system. The Reliability Manager is jointly responsible with all plant maintenance management for follow-up of maintenance activity.
QUALIFICATIONS : • Degree from technical/trade school is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of plant maintenance and beef plant experience is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is preferred.
• Candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead people toward achieving personal and plant results.
• Must be goal oriented and possess root cause analysis skills. .
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Maintenance Reliability Supervisor Oversees the maintenance planners in their job duties, interacts with all mtc departments, and is able to:
Check for parts needed
Assures all parts needed are on sight or ordered
Gets with department heads to set schedule of work Schedules,
Confirms all parts are on-sight
Gets with department heads, lets them know all parts are now available 3. Sets WO to be scheduled
Let’s department head know WO is available Coordinates corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
Reviews downtime reports
Pulls p.m.’s related to downtime for review
Reviews p.m.’s for accuracy with managers
Makes corrections as needed to p.m.’s
Reviews and trains employee’s on P.M.s and changes to confirm understanding.
Tracks training (employee sign offs on training to include supervision) Develops a daily and weekly schedule and assists the maintenance first-line maintenance foreman or supervisor in determining job priorities.
Reviews with department heads the available p.m.’s
Sets a p.m. rotation to accommodate non-critical and critical equipment p.m. schedules Ensures that the CMMS software data files are complete and current. Identifies, analyzes, and reviews equipment maintenance problems with maintenance engineering.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides overall maintenance planning and scheduling support to the maintenance department for the facility, equipment and grounds. This includes planning and scheduling for in-house and contract work and projects. Provides supervision of the plant’s SAP data entry system. Serves as the primary resource for SAP implementation and updating all associated databases. In conjunction with Maintenance Manager, responsible for the plant’s preventive & predictive maintenance program with a strong focus on preventive maintenance escalating to predictive maintenance to increase uptime and lower maintenance costs and plant costs. Work with equipment vendors to determine recommended repair frequencies based on machine usage. Work with department managers to schedule training to improve maintenance repair performance. Work with department managers to effectively schedule work to maximize use of available mechanic time and to reduce department overtime. Provide record keeping of maintenance parts & labor completed on key equipment at the facility to improve scheduling of service or rebuild dates. Develop, distribute, and maintain key performance indicators including, related graphs, documents, reports, costs, etc.
