We are looking for a Part-Time Desktop Support Agent for JBS that reports to the IT Department at the Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado.


  • Troubleshoot & resolve all technical issues involving desktop hardware and/or software in a competent and professional manner, including wireless hand held devices

  • Provide clear and truthful guidance to customers in how to successfully adopt and implement technological solutions into their environment

  • Install & configure new systems and related hardware and software, including industry-specific solutions

  • Remove viruses and spyware using various tools

  • Remote desktop Support via Microsoft SCCM

  • Back-up employees' data

  • Assist users with VPN access

  • Maintain documentation and training material for supported services

  • Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

  • Coordinates transfer of customer data during system upgrades or machine breakdowns

  • Provides hands on help to other IT groups

  • May be required to transport, set-up, and maintain systems at other local locations

  • Performs software updates and patches as necessary

  • Creates and maintains User and technical documentation

  • Participates in established change management protocol


  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a Desktop Support Specialist

  • Experience working with PCs in a formal business environment

  • Experience with MS Windows Office versions 2010 and 2013

  • Experience with MS Windows XP, 7, and 8

  • Extensive knowledge of desktops, laptops and PC hardware and design

  • Experience working in an Active Directory environment

  • Working knowledge of PC related hardware/software (Windows XP/7) and PC maintenance required

  • Working knowledge of Citrix and Thin Clients

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills; Ability to Multitask

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base hourly range of $18-$24 per hour
