Global Procurement Manager

This position is an integral part of the Global Procurement Team, maximizing the value to JBS Global Spend, by developing and implementing key strategies and synergies across JBS Global Business Units on the Packaging & Food Ingredients (P&FI) Category.

The Global Procurement Manager will be based in Greeley, CO, and report to the Global Procurement Director.

The focus of this role will be to identify opportunities through each BU Data Analysis, designing Global Strategic Sourcing Projects, building an innovative procurement approach, converting current Local Business Relationships into Global ones whenever needed, and supporting BU on their local strategic objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Local Category Managers) to understand their day-to-day Procurement Operations and Contract Management Strategy;

  • Analyze Regional Business Units spend information to design Global Strategic Sourcing Policies on Core Categories;

  • Determine Contract Requirement and Specification with Corporate Technical Team;

  • Build strong business relationships across all the Global Business units, engaging local JBS’ stakeholders (Procurement and Technical Teams) to collaborate during the project implementation;

  • Develop and Manage Supplier Relationship, converting “Regional Business Relationships” into “Global Business Relationships”;

  • Provide Risk Management Information and Market Analysis/Trends to internal stakeholders.

  • Drive group Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Operations model per Category;

  • Deliver agile and disciplined approach in order to generate value for JBS Globally ;

  • Oversee supplier performance within Global Procurement Process Manager, implementing KPIs/SLA;

  • Manage and organize category workshop;

  • Global Category negotiation with Regions integration;

  • Drive Value Engineering & Make vs. Buy Projects;

  • Engage with Sustainability Leads to determine requirements to achieve corporate objectives;

  • Market analysis;

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Food Engineering, Production Engineering. Master’s Degree Preferred;

  • 10+ Years of Procurement Experience on Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) Environment;

  • Required experienced with Strategic Sourcing Methodology;

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory. Professional Working Proficiency in Spanish preferred;

  • Sense of urgency, ownership, focus on details and intellectual curiosity;

  • Team player, flexible, adaptable, determinate;

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office;

  • Ability to travel domestically and abroad to plants and suppliers;

  • Previous experience working with global teams and delivering results across a global environment;

  • Strong collaboration and communication skillsThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of$75,000-$100,000; and

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
