Head of Human Resource Compliance

Reports to: Head of Human Resources

Location: Greeley, CO, USA

The Head of Human Resource Compliance is responsible for the development and implementation of industry-specific and comprehensive HR compliance policy and programs for the company. This position will evaluate applicable laws and regulations while serving as a business partner to senior leadership to identify, propose, and implement necessary actions to mitigate risk and to prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance.


  • Ownership, implementation, and oversight of company HR policies and procedures, to include immigration, ADA, AAP, EEO, FMLA, and OFCCP compliance policies and programs.

  • Provide leadership and support to internal HR managers and directors related to recruiting, onboarding, positive team member relations, workplace investigations,immigration, training, wage and hour, and best work environment initiatives.

  • Provide comprehensive guidance related to new and existing laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards.

  • Identifies existing and emerging business practice issues and mitigates risks to the company’s business and operations.

  • Facilitates responses to alleged violations of federal, state, or local laws and regulations, as well as alleged noncompliance of company policiesand procedures.

  • Acting as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that HR compliance issues and concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.

  • Providing concise and consistent HR compliance reports to the company’s CEO and Head of Human Resources.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with five years of related experience, to include three or more years of legal or HR audit and compliance-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or HR senior leadership experience.

  • Able to summarize complex matters into universally-understandable written and verbal analysis, while providing pragmatic solutions.

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills. Must work effectively with C-Suite, business unit and operations leadership teams.

  • Possesses an advanced-level of ability to comprehend, review and implement regulatory HR requirements and address emerging or rapidly changing issues in federal, state, and industry compliance, including the ability to understand specialized areas(AAP, EEO, & OFCCP) and work closely with company officers to develop and implement necessary solutions that are appropriate to the Company.
