  • Implements and maintains the plant’s labor relations programs and procedures

  • Ensures satisfactory labor-management relations and helps interpret collective bargaining agreementswith local union, administration of the collective bargaining agreement and the grievance process

  • Leads grievance procedures including arbitrations and assists all levels of management on labor matters

  • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the his/her functional area of responsibility and capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments i.e. legal, compliance, worker’s compensation

  • Provides facility supervision with advice and counsel on personnel issues

  • Employee Relations - ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; be available to employees and ability to demonstrate group presentation skills

  • Makes self-available to management & employees, provides regular performance feedback and develops subordinate’s skills and encourages growth

  • Provide immediate feedback to management base on offline interpreter’s feedback between parties

  • Work with managers and supervisors to create and implement both plant and departmental programs to increase employee engagement and retention.


  • Prior experience in unionized environment required

  • 2-3 years’ experience in meat processing or other manufacturing setting

  • Strong communication and public speaking skills

  • Bilingual skills preferred

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Base salary range of $58,800 - $72,345

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
