Corporate Maintenance Tech

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that will combine your mechanical aptitude in a state-of-the-art corporate office facility?

The JBS Corporate Maintenance Tech will assist the Corporate Facilities Manager in the day-to-day operations of our corporate office in Northern Colorado, where over 1,200 team members work.

Duties include operating and performing routine and preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and to maintain the high standards of appearance and overall condition of the facility.

The Specialist may perform tasks such in carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs, as well as maintenance to lights, doors, walls, floors, and roof drains. This position requires on-site presence during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, and may require work after hours to prevent disruption of business activities, or in the event of urgent matters.


  • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety regulations

  • Support the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary

  • Maintain and perform scheduled routine and preventive maintenance including testing and inspecting the operation of life safety equipment and elevators

  • Assist with emergency evacuations, such as fire or natural disaster

  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to purchase supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete general maintenance duties, tasks, repairs, and projects

  • Perform miscellaneous maintenance at multiple locations such as snow removal, changing filters and light bulbs and ballasts

  • Run local errands in company vehicle as needed

  • Assist building coworkers to ensure safety and security policies are being followed

  • Train coworkers on tasks specifically related to the position

  • Aid in budget development and ensure it is followed

  • Fleet maintenance

  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma/GED

  • 5-7 years of general building maintenance and facilities experience

  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and other systems

  • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including lifts, lawn mowers, and small hand tools

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

  • Able to occasionally lift 50-75 lbs. Move heavy objects, stoop, bend, or stand for extended periods of time

  • May be exposed to dust, dirt, and unpleasant odors, etc.

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

  • Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment

  • Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $24.00 - $26.97

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
