JBS USA PROJECT MANAGER in Greeley, Colorado

Pilgrims' is looking for a Project Manager that will support the Fresh Business Units. The PM will help coordinate new and existing products, and will report to and work closely with the Director of Business Development to ensure timely execution of projects and sku’s assigned to their manufacturing plants. This position will also represent the company in both new and existing customer interactions.


  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

  • Responsible for all aspects of the project from bid/idea, plant placement, samples, project timelines, commercialization, and project follow-up.

  • Solid technical background, with understanding of the plant process

  • Identified resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities

  • Identify business development opportunities as they relate to a specific project

  • Facilitates team meetings effectively

  • Provide sales support by closing the gap between plants and support services to ensure issues are handled in a timely manner.

  • Ability to manage and provide support for ongoing and new projects at plant level.

  • Design and execute cost savings projects with plant, sales, support services

  • Finding solutions to current plant and sales opportunities.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Travel as needed to manufacturing plants


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 1-3 years project management experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to motivate and coach team members and mitigate any conflict

  • Willingness to participate in travel in support of project launches

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Ability to travel as needed
