JBS USA RELIABILITY SUPERINTENDENT in Greeley, Colorado

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Provides overall maintenance planning and scheduling support to include contract maintenance and the planning of repairs and rebuilds. Provides supervision of SAP data entry/maintenance and is responsible for the plant’s preventive & predictive maintenance program.

KEYACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides overall maintenance planning and scheduling support to the maintenance department for the facility, equipment and grounds. This includes planning and scheduling for in-house and contract work and projects. Provides supervision of the plant’s SAP data entry system. Serves as the primary resource for SAP implementation and updating all associated databases. Responsible for the plant’s preventive & predictive maintenance program with a strong focus on preventive maintenance escalating to predictive maintenance to increase uptime and lower maintenance costs and plant costs. Work with equipment vendors to determine recommended repair frequencies based on machine usage. Work with department managers to schedule training to improve maintenance repair performance. Work with department managers to effectively schedule work to maximize use of available mechanic time and to reduce department overtime. Provide record keeping of maintenance parts & labor completed on key equipment at the facility to improve scheduling of service or rebuild dates. Develop, distribute, and maintain key performance indicators including, related graphs, documents, reports, costs, etc

QUALIFICATIONS: • Degree from technical/trade school is preferred. • Technical knowledge of plant maintenance and beef plant experience is preferred. • Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and basic SAP knowledge is required • Candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead people toward achieving personal and plant results. • Must be goal oriented and possess root cause analysis skills. .

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Degree from technical/trade school preferred. Multi-skilled maintenance background desired. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to lead people toward achieving personal and plant results. Must be goal oriented and possess root cause analysis skills. Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
