JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Trailer Technician

Department: Maintenance

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: Shop Foreman

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Repair and maintain all systems on Thermo King and Carrier-brand refrigeration units and APU’s.

• Perform trailer DOT inspections.

• Perform preventative maintenance.

• Perform diagnosis on both Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units and APU units.

• Perform electrical diagnosis.

• Replace trailer clutches, brakes, and tires as necessary.

• Other general trailer duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience with trailer refrigeration maintenanceand/or have adequate trade school training and experience.

• Must be a team player, hardworking, reliable and able to work a flexible schedule.

• Must have adequate computer skills to perform duties assigned.

• Must have proper tools to perform the job.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

• Base salary range of $18.50 per hour
