Purpose & Scope: The parts room clerk is required to handle the day-to-day inventory responsibilities, in support of other organizational functions. This position reports to the facility Purchasing Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Unload/load delivery trucks with electric forklift
Load supply trailers with forklift and/or physical material handling
Perform cycle counting and other daily paperwork
Follow the instructions of the Purchasing Manager / Purchasing Supervisor
Meet deadlines for completion of the delegated tasks
Proper storage and handling of the received stock
Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse
Place tags and labels on the inventory stock
Coordinate with team members and other internal departments
Second Shift (4:00pm to 4:30am), possible overtime available
Must be available for weekend shifts

Skills and Specifications
Must possess strong computer skills
Forklift experience a must
SAP experience a plus
Must possess the ability to repetitively lift and carry boxes up to 60#
Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
Should possess the skills of being a good team worker, self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills for interacting with other departments
Must possess good mathematical, statistical and analytical abilities
Education and Qualifications
High school degree or an equivalent qualification
Warehousing experience a plus
Forklift operator experience a must
