We are building our team and looking for talented and driven professionals for a Sales Planning & Analytics Manager, based at our Corporate Office in Lafayette, Colorado. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this position offers tremendous opportunity for growth with the organization.
Primary responsibilities for this role are to be the communication funnel between Sales and the field, marketing, R&D and finance. This critical role will work to track and analyze category and channel performance, risks and opportunities, forecast accuracy, and work on ad-hoc cross-category projects. The Sales Strategy & Planning role is a great development opportunity allowing for great experience working in a team-based cross functional environment. There is significant exposure to building and executing strategies for a rapidly growing, start-up brand along with bringing that vision to a highly sophisticated selling organization. Self-starters with strong sense of ownership are desired in this role. Innate curiosity along with the willingness and ability to learn quickly are valued.
Work directly with sales team to plan, develop and commercialize forecasting based on distribution and promotional activity
Analyze and commercialize market data, sales performance and broker performance with a focus on the “why”
Assist in production of sales materials, sales routines and sales reports
Attend customer meetings with Brokers and sales leaders
Exhibit the highest possible level of customer service to all customers, visitors and prospects
Passionately and effectively use data and insights to tell a sales story
Develop KPIs for Sales Function to track progress toward annual plan targets on Net Revenue and profitable growth.
Create, maintain and communicate all weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the sales team
Administer and communicate promotional event tracking, long term opportunities and new item status recaps, utilizing IRI and other data sources
Build recommendations for Assortment opportunities and Promotional strategies
Maintain JBP templates and presentations
Assist with buyer presentations
Assist with data analytic needs for internal Business Reviews and Annual Planning
Create Trade and Financial Reporting Hub to better understand ROI of trade spend
3 years of experience in data analytics, MS Office, with advanced skulls in MS Excel
Working knowledge and strong understanding of sales and product development required
Experience in Nielsen/IRI/SPINS/Technomics sales data required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, directly related work experience will be accepted on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the educational requirement
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office); SAP experience preferred
Experience building sales presentations and competitive sales analysis in the food sector strongly preferred
Prior CPG industry experience strongly preferred
Ability to interact effectively and partner with customers
Compassionate to customers' needs
Detail oriented, project management experience a plus
Can thrive in a team environment
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel as required (10-20%)
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Base salary range of $70-$95K
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
