Job title: Recruiter/Community Liaison

General Description:

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Act as a liaison between the company and the community

  • Available to travel

  • Available to work weekends when needed

  • Work closely with supervisors and union

  • Maintains records as required

  • Responds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions and concerns

  • Ability to interact with all employees in a tactful manner

  • Workwith all aspects of Human Resources

  • General office procedures including handling phone calls and filing

  • Recruiting/Hiring production employees for our company

  • Talking to interested people (selling our company to potential candidates)

  • Dealing with Workforce Centers (Job Services)

  • Must follow all compliance guidelines

  • Some general office procedures

  • Other duties as needed or required

Required skills:

  • Experience as a Recruiter preferred

  • Communication/public relations skills required

  • Bilingual is a Must. Multi-lingual skills preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquette

  • Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task – attention to detail

  • Professionalism, Problem Solver

  • Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills

  • Computer skills, & knowledge of basic office software necessary (Word, Excel, Access,ect)

  • Trustworthy – Will be handling confidential material must maintain confidentiality

  • Good attendance record

  • Flexible – Team Player

  • Prior experience in unionized environment

  • Data entry accuracy

  • Demonstrate JBS values and mission

Working Conditions:

  • Office Settings

  • Production and maintenance settings - Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise

  • Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
