JOB SUMMARY:

Applies business knowledge for the successful weekly compilation and reporting of hourly payroll. Facilitates a positive relationship between personnel and management. Answers hourly employee questions on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee services. Follows Human Resources practices and objectives to provide accurate, timely and compliance driven achievement throughout the facility. Escalates payroll deviations and deadline concerns as critical issues to management. Coordinates implementation of projects with local and corporate Human Resources staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

  1. Responsible for processing payroll reporting and activities

  2. Compiling payroll process weekly and submits reports accurately and on time

  3. Coordinate s and process es Off Cycle payments as necessary

  4. Enter s correcting items from error report from Pay Card and Bank Returns

  5. Complete s payroll tasks as assign by supervisor/manager

  6. Employee information resource for payroll and time keeping system

  7. Answer s questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters

  8. Enter electronic records for hourly personnel

  9. Employee weekly and daily s chedules and adjustments

  10. ID badges

  11. Vacation, sick leave, etc.

  12. Assist with governmental/compliance reporting

  13. Assists in the management of files and producing reports.

  14. Manages Employee personnel files.

  15. Creates HR reports when necessary.

  16. Assumes other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong 10-Key data entry skills required

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • SAP and Kronos knowledge preferred

  • 2 years of experience in similar role preferred

  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Windows applications

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels

  • Highly organized and dependable

  • Self-starter and proactive

  • High School diploma or GED required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

ACTIVITIES:

Sedentary office work, sitting for long hours.

HEARING:

Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION:

Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.

VISUAL ABILITIES:

Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Most of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment is wet, damp and cold (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
