JBS USA EMPLOYMENT MANAGER in Memphis, Tennessee

JOB SUMMARY:

Respond to and act on various leads and sell driving opportunities by telephone, online and in person. Take incoming calls from prospective employees. Introduce programs offerings and career opportunities, conduct a needs analysis, effectively deal with callers’ objections and close on quality candidates to hire with JBS/Empire Packing at high volume.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

· Subject matter expert on career opportunities we offer.

· Conduct interviews of qualified candidates. Evaluate and mike conditional job offers to those candidates who meet hiring criteria. Inform candidates of the additional to those candidates who meet hiring criteria. Inform candidates of the additional requirements for information and paperwork needed to continue the recruiting process.

· Interface with internal departments of candidates’ screening/testing.

· Follow up via phone or written contact with all pending candidates.

· Meet or exceed specific weekly, monthly, and quarterly hiring goals.

· Maintain superior customer service with candidates, Internal Departments, and associates.

· Hours must be flexible, which may include some weekend work.

· May assume other duties as assigned.

· Previous recruiting experience in a high-volume recruiting environment.

· Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize workload; attention to detail.

· Effective interpersonal communication skill – both oral and written. Pleasant but assertive-persuasive telephone personality.

· Interviewing skills to include the ability to listen and analyze answers and ask appropriate questions.

· Self-motivated and self-directed.

· Previous position where sound judgement, initiative, and tactful communication skills were demonstrated.

· Previous human resources experience preferred.

· Ability to make decisions based on objective data obtained from applications and during interviews.

· Must be proficient in computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Ability to learn new systems as they become available.

· Knowledge of Human Resource systems

· Ability to work within a team by providing support to other team members and maintaining productivity levels.

· Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

· Most of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant. The plant environment is wet, damp, and cold (non-weather related) working near moving mechanical parts. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.

· Must be well organized with good attention to details.

· Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.

· Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

· May assume other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ High School Diploma or GED Management or related field and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

§ Ability to speak, read, and write English

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

§ Knowledge of employment law practices.

§ Knowledge of Human Resource systems; Internet software; Microsoft Office Suite; Payroll Database software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

ACTIVITIES:

Sedentary office work, sitting for long hours.

HEARING:

Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION:

Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.

VISUAL ABILITIES:

Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
