Description

  • KPI Management: Responsible to report department targets and controls. Develop daily production status reports for manager. Monitor shift operations and productivity. Maximize the efficiency of the department and ensure the optimization of Daily Production plan are met. Ensure raw material availability to meet demand planning while maximizing raw material life cycle. Ensure daily plans targets available for the Operations team in time for an effective shift start. Analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.

  • Scheduling: Works with Manager to plan and coordinate production schedules. Review daily production requirements to identify, report, and resolve plant capacity constraints. Work with managers to identify and develop solutions to improve production performance. Develop effective scheduling process to achieve objectives. Gains and maintains detailed knowledge of operational processes and works jointly to improve

  • Materials Management: Works within material guidelines to maintain stock levels in coordination with customer demand, lead time, and schedule requirements. Identifies and resolves material shortages effectively. Monitors workflow and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of inbound materials. Takes a lead role in resolving potential disruptions to the supply chain. Develops and maintains MRP system effectively order, track, and analyze materials.

  • Food Safety: Ensure compliance with Technical and Quality standards as identified on Product Specifications, to isolate and address any non-conformances and monitor measures designed to maintain and improve standards within the Department. Liaise with the Technical / Quality department on issues affecting the production schedule and/or materials.

  • Culture: Maintain daily communication with the shift managers and team leads to ensure that all operational requirements are achieved. Analyze and address production issues timely and effectively.

  • Systems Management: Maintain the MRP system to ensure raw material, packaging and finished goods stocks are properly mapped at the BOM level and there are necessary levels to meet planning demand. Ensure all finished good and material characteristics are updated regularly to ensure data accuracy. Ensure all material usage is properly reported and documented. Responsible for FIFO, Lot control, storage and transportation of all materials.

  • Waste Management: Monitor and oversee the material use. Analyze and communicate material yield, waste, and unknown loss.
