JBS USA PROCESS AUDITOR in Riverside, California

Accountable for the management and oversight of multiple product and process related functions. Duties include ability to communicate and interact with all plant areas including quality assurance department, planning department, inventory department, financial department and production department, respecting internal policies, practices and contractual labor agreements.

Responsibilities for the process auditor:

  • Audit all the raw material that goes into production to evaluate compliance with the raw material specs.

  • Send all the raw material inspection reports to the supplier plants in case of a significant deviation is found.

  • Assist product manager and production floor in various technical and administrative tasks.

  • Assist production floor with any information related to the product specification.

  • Keep share point files updated on the tablet with all specifications needed in order to support production.

  • Keep spec master file updated with latest information regarding product specifications.

  • Document and register any information/pictures on the floor related to product specifications that might be needed to update or change any specification file.

  • Assist on planning and execution of new products with commercial team.

  • Create spec shell for new product specifications.

  • Run yield tests on the production floor in order to gather data and information for product management strategy purposes.

  • Be flexible, communicative, have a problem-solving mindset, critical thinking, think on simple solutions, have high availability and ability to work independently.

Qualifications for the process auditor:

  • Previous experience in a food production facility is preferred

  • Previous knowledge in meat cuts is preferred

  • Associate degree or higher preferred

  • Intermediate knowledge on excel spreadsheets is required

Hourly Rate based on experience – this is a non-union, management support role.
