The Pork Sales Executive establishes long term commercial relationships with the customer base, and works with them to bring consistent sales revenue to the department and the company. Responsible for minimizing effects of credit and default risk and reduces operational complexity. Is a team player that works directly with product managers, pricing managers, and other departments such as marketing, credit, QA, plant operations, looking to increase value for the company and the customer.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospect new sales every day executing both short and long term contracts that will ensure profitability and growth for the company.
Maintain daily communication with customer base, as well as internally with product and pricing managers and look for sales of the products we need to move.
Familiarize with Order Management and FGI systems to be able to enter orders and track frozen inventories.
Develop new products jointly with marketing and product managers, looking for long term commitments with customers.
Provide market feedback for colleagues and pricing managers.
Follow up on claims reported by customers, and process them with claims, and deliver a response to the customer.
Travel required to visit customers, and to visit JBS plants.
Participate actively in industry food shows important for the Mexico market.
Minimum 2 years experience in sales environment is desired.
Minimum 2 years experience in meat products is desired.
Knowledge of Mexico customer base is preferred.
Bilingual – English and Spanish, both oral and written required. Native Spanish is preferred.
Must be able to work in the USA.
Strong communication skills are required.
Must be able to use computer software such as Microsoft Office.
