Hatchery Operations Support CoordinatorGENERAL SUMMARY:This position performs routine and some fairly complex but varied clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, filing, tabulating, posting information and distributing mail in support of the Hatchery.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Prepares correspondence. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems.• Operates various office machines. Photocopies documents.• Answers correspondence.• Answers telephone, conveys messages and runs errands.• Tabulates and posts data.• Proofreads records or forms. Sorts and files records. Files information in established files.• Checks, analyzes and classifies materials. Resolves simple discrepancies related to materials.• Transfers information from reports, codes numerically, and posts to a prepared code sheet, ledger or journal.• Determines daily orders.• Completes daily reports.• Ensures that each department is stocked with proper sized birds.• Other duties as assigned by manager.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSEDUCATION: High school diploma/GED required. Some college preferred.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:• At least one year of clerical experience• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Working knowledge of SAP a plus.• Ability to communicate effectively with internal employeesEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
