1 ST SHIFT-CUT FLOOR TRAINER

HOURS:

· 1st Shift – flexible as needed or required

DUTIES

· Training and motivation of all new employees

· Conducting Work Hardening programs

· Conducting “off-line” knife sharpening classes on both straight and wizzard knives

· Completing various reports in a timely manner

· May assist Occupational Health and the hospital for translation

· Schedule and assist with annual retraining

· Other duties as assigned

· Hours worked as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· Superior knife sharpening skills (all types)-must achieve/maintain knives at or above 8.1 on the Anago knife sharpness tester

· Patient attitude with inexperienced employees

· Excellent people skills

· Ability to follow instructions

· Ability to plan time efficiently

· Ability to conduct training classes as assigned

· Bilingual preferred

· Valid driver license needed

· Communication skills – written and oral

· Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of ALL FABRICATION DEPARTMENT jobs

· Good attendance record required

· Good Safety record required

· High School or GED preferred
